Brain and Behaviour Lab (BBL)
Brain and Behaviour Lab will be concentrated on research regarding the neuronal, cognitive and social determinants of human behaviour. The research will be conducted in three main strands: social cognition, cognitive neuroscience, and psychotherapy.
Among the endeavours of Brain and Behaviour Lab, priority will be given to the following reasearch areas classified by the European Research Council:
- Neuroscience and Neural Disorders (Neural cell function and signalling, systems neuroscience, neural bases of cognitive and behavioural processes, neurological and psychiatric disorders) (LS5),
- The Social World, Diversity, Population (Sociology, social psychology, social anthropology, demography, education, communication) (SH3),
- The Human Mind and Its Complexity (Cognitive science, psychology, linguistics, philosophy of mind) (SH4),
- Environmental and climate change, societal impact and policy (SH2_7)
In BBL, each of the priority areas will be structured around an interdisciplinary team, which will strive to develop the research strategy in respect of a given subject.
